Akai MPK249 & MPK261 – MPK225 with pruning
Here is every knob, slider and pushbutton (all three banks) mapped to Rack outputs.
You should place the master rack inside a parent rack in order to retain your output routings. Make that one for your application and embed the master rack inside that. Then set up the routings from inside your parent rack from the embedded “Master” one, all set to Rack MIDI Out, using “Add Route” in the embedded rack. See article cited below.
These use the Akai Factory Preset #24: MIDI Out as the set for its controller numbers.
As well, bindings to the Play, Stop and Auto-Record-Toggle buttons on the MPK exist.
One pad button binding is included (Pad 16) to show how that is done in case you want to add those. (5 banks of 16 pads!!! I’m not THAT crazy!)
Mod wheel, pitch bend and aftertouch are also mapped to outputs via the bindings.

Torsten also recommends separating pedals (sustain, expression, etc.) into their own rack, but those currently coexist with the others in this version. Easy to edit!
See this post and its associated thread for more information on the use of this pair of racks (your parent and the above master rack). This is the zip containing the examples from that article.

Here is a parent/child rack for example. You will likely want to set up your own. Send the parent’s “MIDI Out” to some synth and use MIDI Learn with your assignments, or alter the embedded master to send to multiple locations and channels. You can send any of 16 channels from the child out the parent’s “MIDI Out” and all signals will arrive properly.
Remember - edits to the embedded rack will not affect the original master. It will only apply to this parent rack - but you can have many parent/child racks with different settings set up to switch to via states, or use states to change these settings internally.
Only one bank of knobs, buttons and sliders in this example, plus the transport, pitch, mod wheel, aftertouch, program change and notes. One pad (16) is included as an example.
No pedals (place in their own rack with the others in your rig.)
