Using keyboard key to "latch" a sound?

I know I’ve asked this before but I can’t find the post.

I want to set up a binding in a song so that pressing a key triggers a note from a synth in one of my song racks. The note needs to continue to sound until I press the key again. I know I need to set up a binding but don’t remember the particulars. I want to use the lowest note on my keyboard (A0) and I want to be able to set it so that the note sounds an octave higher than the actual key pressed.

Use the “sticky note” filter on a route - see here. Add route settings like upper/lower key and transpose to apply this only to A0 and to transpose by an octave - all done!

Cheers,
