That looks like an SG special with the plastic P90’s - one of my favorite guitars

here is my “minimal” setup for real last minute and dangerous places gig (an ad here says something like “the most dangerous rhum bars in Caracas”)
ASUS notebook running C3, NativeInstruments Komplete Audio6 board, Arturia KeyLabII 61 controller.
A simple X stand from QuickLok, one expression pedal (Yamaha FC7), one sustain switch, two Behringer B208 active monitors.
Main out pair from audio board go to mixer for PA management, headphone out goes to monitors.
I made myself the cable (from one jack stereo to jack mono pair).
On Audio6 I have a big potentiometer for main out level, and a small one for headphone output, so I have control on both outputs. I never found a real board with a couple of stereo XLR outputs with separated level, so this is the choice I had to make.
This way I have control over noisy guitar players who start soundcheck with volume at 4 and at the first song solo increase up to 9 for the full gig.
I am looking for a better controller (new post here since 15 minutes).
With serious dates I prefer a Yamaha Montage7, no issue about stuck notes, and better keybed.

That is interesting. I have thought many times of mounting my laptop under my main keyboard.

Montage on the right down, Arturia Keylab 61 mkII on the top.
Viscount Legend on the left. Pedal board Behringer FCB 1010.
Only Montage as synthesizer, other keys with VST driven by C3 (Asus notebook in between).
All VST using Montage audio board. Really nice one.
Viscount tonewheel sounds are wonderful but Leslie simulation isn’t.
IK B3X is for me better.
I decided this way for pure porn satisfaction.
Swirling on a good waterfall keyboard for rock organ is perfect.
So Arturia controller was used only for brass and mono synths, no risk of stuck notes.
Pedal board had only CC buttons driving setlist, sequencer start and audio engine restart.
Since there was no stuck note (concert closed one hour ago) there was no need at all.
C3 drove my heaven specification setup.
Mono synths from Pigments and Synthmaster, some Mellotron (Arturia), Session strings 2 (Native Instruments). Wurly from Lounge Lizard. Rhodes from Montage
C3 was pure perfection, not a glitch, not a trouble.
Only remark: I need long vu meter led bars.

Well here it is: officially my least sexy rig EVER! 
It’s like a super low rent version of Neil isn’t it 
Basically I designed this to be the worst case scenario; no equipment encountered on a gig should be worse than this. Once I get past my programming phase I may juggle the laptop to be more behind the rig so I can monitor it. This is the most minimal I have ever gone- one 88 to play on and one mini keyboard for keyswitches. I’ll probably take a 25 key controller with me in the suitcase, not this thing.

Here’s what I’m using… Windows 7 64-bit laptop, iPad Air, Yamaha WX7 controller, and a DW8000 (synth and keyboard controller).
Here’s a little demo I did showing how I’m using Cantabile (and Reaper) with various synth and effects plugins
Sweet! I haven’t played a DW-8000 in years but I remember them having nice keybeds.
I remember the keyboard player in Karnataka having a DW8000 amongst other things, when I saw them around 1998, and he revered it for a source of Moogy sounds.
I managed to score a WX5 very cheaply on eBay a few years back, and one day I intend to do something with it! … It depends on me not being busy of course! (Hah!)…
It was a sweet synth. I had an EX-8000 rack unit for years. I only used it for 3 sounds, but they were all great sounds 
(basically, a string pad, a brass pad and a bitey lead sound).

Hanging from the rack handle is my TEC breath controller for those sexy sax solos and the occasional brass line that needs a little more realistic expression.
I switch between the SM58 on the stand and a wireless Shure headset mic depending on the song. The SM58 sounds much better, but it is nice to walk out in the crowd with my acoustic sometimes.
The Fireface sends both mic inputs directly to the TC-Helicon and I can mix in the effect only as a rack, allowing Cantabile full control over the harmonies or whatever as another input. Makes for a pretty flexible setup.
