Under Cantabile 2.0 I tried to route sustain on/off to note on/off and couldn’t seem to get it to work. Do you know if there is a way to do it under 3.0? I would like to route the sustain on one of my keyboards, when not it use, to a percussion VST and be able to foot tap out a beat. I don’t really want to lug another piece of gear around dedicated to doing this yet (eg 12 Step or other foot controllers).
Thank you for the quick feedback and solution. I’ll give the binding-trigger approach a shot. It would me a nice feature to add to midi filters. That is were I was trying to do it of course.
