At long last, I’ve gotten everything setup and have begun my long-awaited series on the Cantabile software, in my new Terry’s Music Tech YouTube channel for which this introduction is its inaugural video!
Subscribe to get notifications, though I will be posting each episode in this thread as well.

Hi Terry,
I thought you did a great job on this introductory video but wondered about the last section following your closing remarks that shows the wiring view running a VSTi. What is that about? Is it an example?
Thanks again for your wonderful contributions!
Dave
David,
It is an easter-egg!
I made a test video using OBS (Camtasia won’t include Cantabile’s sound for some reason - cannot get it to see Cantabile’s output as “system audio”. Camtasia’s fault entirely, and it doesn’t work with ASIO nor with Voicemeeter!)
I think I will place one at the end of all the videos in the series.
I know - I am pretty silly! Cannot stop it! Has plagued me for years!

I look forward to the creative epilogues to come!!
I managed to conquer the issue I was having with Camtasia NOT receiving Cantabile’s audio into its “System Audio” track (separated from the microphone/vocal track). So glad I did! Turning on “Shared mode” was the key.
I was able to come right out of the WASAPI outs to my Maschine mk3 main, and with the system audio set to the same output it worked fine, as long as “Shared mode” was turned on.
