When i don't use cantabile for about 3 hours it doesn't work anymore

Hello,

i have a problem with Cantabile. I launch Cantabile, it works.
When i don’t use it for about 3 hours it doesn’t work anymore.
There is no sound at all and there is a big crackle when I change a song.
I have tested with 2 different sound cards.

I use a lot of vsti in Cantabile, maybe one of them is responsible for this problem ?
Have you an idea ?

Could be a USB selective suspend thing.

Try disabling it in your power options.

Thanks but i have no usb device connected to the laptop except the mouse, i am using the sound card of the computer for testing.

Most likely a power-related issue. Try to disable any energy saving options, from BIOS and in Windows settings. If you don’t use Internet, disable the wifi adapter, the usual things well explained in Brad’s Glitch-free ebook.
Another reason might be the laptop is running out of memory. It happens, when you leave the PC (not pressing keys or moving mouse), Windows starts its maintenance/scan tasks.
