Using PC's mic input as an additional source

I’m using Dante (basically audio over Ethernet) as my audio interface for Cantabile. I’d like to add an analog input from my iPad for some auxiliary sounds like pads. I don’t want to have to use an external interface because it’s not that important. I want to go in through my PC’s mic input. What I can’t seem to figure out is how to route that to Cantabile. It wants a Dante input since that’s the interface I’m using. Is the answer to use something like VoiceMeeter to mix the sources? TIA

Cantabile only supports a single audio driver at a time so all your audio inputs and outputs need to be available on the one device.

If your inputs/outputs are on separate physical devices, you’ll need something to amalgamate them: eg: VoiceMeeter. ASIO4ALL can also do this, but I’ve only had mixed success with it.
