Using Cantabile with Microsoft Teams

I’ve a fairly simple setup in Cantabile, some isntruments are being routed to my monitor speakers, which are connected to a UR44 Steinberg interfaces.

I’m trying to achieve routing some of the singals to a separate bus that would be used as input for Microsoft Teams conference call.

The main purpose of this is outputting both voice (picked up by microphone) and instruments which will be both played back through my monitors and sent as input to Microsoft Teams.

I wasn’t able to achieve this with Cantabile alone since whenever I choose my interface as audio engine device, I don’t have an option to create any bus / virtual input that would be selectible in Microsoft Teams.

I was also not successful with Voicemeeter.

Does anyone has a straightforward way to achieve this?

Most organizations use both Teams and Zoom. Is there a specific reason you’re using Teams? Zoom has better support for music audio

Zoom Audio Settings:

UPDATE: I see Teams has added similar support in 2025

I had the same problem. Mixing different sources with different drivers and sending them to a program like Teams/Zoom etc.

Voicemeeter can mix different sources and send them via ‘virtual cable’ to Teams/Zoom.
It’s very simple, you only have to choose the right input in Teams/Zoom.
