Trouble understanding Cantabile Signal Flow/Logic

Hi everyone,

I am writing to get some help from the community. I am a hobby guitarist and a keyboard player. Ive been playing for fifteen years, mostly classic rock. For most of the time I was working on a mac, and for a while was running MainStage. My mac recently died and I wound up buying a PC, and I have been looking for a mainstage replacement. I found cantabile, and while it looked promising, I am having a hard time understanding how to set it up.

I am running a keyboard rig with two M-Audio keyboards into my pc, and then all soft synths. To understand what I am trying to do, I will lay out a scenario:

I have two keyboards, NI Grand Piano vst, NI B4II, and Arturia MiniMoog V. My set list would look like something like the following

Song 1:
Section 1
-Keyboard 1: B4II patch a
-keyboard 2: Minimoog patch A

Section 2
-Keyboard 1: Grand Piano patch A
-keyboard 2: B4 patch B

Song 2:
Section 1
-Keyboard 1: B4II patch C
-keyboard 2: Minimoog patch A

Section 2
-Keyboard 1: Minimoog patch A
-keyboard 2: Minimoog patch B

I am having a hard time understanding how I route each of these instruments, and even with tinkering around, it didnt make sense. I was wondering if anyone could possibly walk me through how I can make a similar setup to understand the logic of where things go and how they are recalled.

Thanks!

I can help you get through it, but I need to know how far you have progressed. If you like, PM me and I will get you through it.
