As mentioned previously I’ve been working on getting Cantabile 3 working well with touch screen devices like the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Here’s a (very rough) demo video:
When touching inside the timeline it will try to scroll (as documented for all scrollable areas). In this special case it might be a preferred use case to let the orange position indicator jump to the pushed spot (like a mouse click would do). Maybe there could be a configuration setting to configure the desired behaviour.
If it moved the play position when you touch, then how do you scroll without moving the play position? I guess one possibility would be if you tap without dragging. Let me think about it.
