Thinking of a move back to C - questions on VSTs please

Been using Camelot Pro for quite a while now, but I used to use Cantabile way back when, and I am thinking of moving back however I do have a question re VST instruments and keeping them in memory…so one does not need to re-load them for each song change, even though there will be separate settings for individual songs.

So a dedicated instrument rack and all I do from song setups is send patch change data to the app.
Can Cantabile do this?

The reason I am asking is the NI Komplete 8, takes quite a while to load on my stage rig, so I need to remove the loading time for all gig songs. Thanks

I do this to load sounds, as well as map keyboards, even splits and media playbacks. Yes, in the Rack, you need to tell the system you want song or states to do the memory for settings, but once that’s done, it sends whenever you change a song. The key is to build the songs, then a set list (l have dozens, for carious past shows, etc. i use them for practice, as well). Once that’s built, preload the setlist, and changes are instantaneous. You need Performer level, but it works like a champ.
