Workflow question: Creating a new song

Maybe I’m weird, but I quite enjoy starting from a blank song, throwing my racks in and wiring it all up! Admittedly some aspects of it are tedious though. Can't Create Initial Rack File. Best work flow?

Loading plug-ins

When I just loaded Cantabile 3, as part of the initial setup, I listed 3 separate VST directories and the software found 80 of them but when I went to select them I had only 6. Is this program able to find all the 32bit and 64 bit VST’s but can only use 64 bit VST’s ?

Create One Rack or Many Specific Racks - Best Practice

If I want to load up all of my synths and presents and the beginning of a set, is it best to have one large rack with all of my synths loaded. And then have the song reference an appropriate rack state. Or for organizational purposes is it good to have many racks and rack states, and then I HOPE/ ASSUME, that a set list will see all of the Racks that the set list references and will automatically load all of the needed racks??? FYI - My computer has 16GB of ram, and a 512GB SSD.

Permanently silencing specific keys

I want to permanently silence the lowest 3 keys on my 88-key controller and reserve those keys to trigger state changes. I’ve figured out how to use bindings in the Global Rack to assigned state changes to each key. How do I also globally turn off the volume for each key as well?

I am a bit confused on how to make Cantabile work for me. Here is a general idea of what I typically do. 4-5 song set list Each songs has 2-4 different sounds I use 2 midi keyboards (88 key semi weighted and 61 key synth action) - one of which has knobs, faders and pads for playing sounds Once the song is set up I will need it to hold all plugins and settings.
