Bug report for @Brad: On Cantabile Performer build 4341 or later, the “add port” function for VST2 plugins no longer works correctly. (I assume the bug is probably related to the no-add-ports-to-media-players fix introduced in 4341.)
Steps to reproduce:
- Start Cantabile and add plugin “Trackspacer 2.5” VST2 by Wavesfactory. (I have x64 version 2.5.10.0 in case it matters.)
- Right-click on it and select “Properties…”, then select the “Audio Ports” tab, then click the “Add” button and select “Port”. The “Create Audio Port” popup window appears.
- Select the “Type” dropdown combo box and observe that no options appear. It should have options “Input” and “Output”, which is what Cantabile builds before 4341 show.
- If you create a port anyway without selecting any options, Cantabile creates an output port. There doesn’t seem to be any way to create an input port anymore (e.g., for side-chaining).
