Sending out VST parameters via midi

I know that I can control drawbar settings via an external midi controller.

Can I also send out currnet drawbar settings from the vst via midi to a controller so it can stay in sync?

Hi ohernie,

if your controller accepts midi input for those sliders then the answer is yes. You would have a binding that did the controller to the vst and another that was from the vst back to the controller to form the feedback loop. You can also just make a midi route back to your controller without bindings that would also work. The bindings might be required to pair the drawbars on the vst to the sliders on the controller.

Note, this requires Performer. Solo doesn’t support outgoing MIDI bindings…

I’ve got Performer so there isn’t a problem. Works like a charm. I have to set up a binding for each parameter I want to feed back, right?
