Hello,
I’m trying to change my Sampletank rack from “Entire plugin snapshot” to Native mode. I created ST “songs” and associated them with specific Program Changes. I created a separate state for each ST song with matching PC. However I haven’t been able to get C4 to switch the ST songs when i change states. I’ve tried creating various bindings to send PC on state change, but to no avail. Can someone please explain how to do this?
FYI: I’m trying this change because I’m going to switch to Git for my Cantabile backup, but the ST rack file is huge with the snapshot blobs. It’s not conducive to Git.

Hi David,
It sounds like you did the concept right for sending a PG change to SampleTank on state changes but it would help me to see a pic of the state behaviors for the bindings and a detailed view of one of the bindings. I did this with IK B-3X and it worked so it should work for ST too.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m not at my gig machine right now, but also I tried a few different binding configurations.
I even tried to just send PC from the Cantabile “Quick Settings”, but could not get ST to respond to any PCs.
Can you tell me what you did for the B-3X?

Hi Dave,
I dug up the old rack and it no longer responds to PG changes much like your issue. I MIDI monitored the input to the plugin and the PG changes are going there but no action is taken when you do. So I looked around the net and there are other folks using GP host and Reaper having the same issues. This looks like an IK problem. Sorry that doesn’t help much but at least confirms it’s not just ST having the PG change issue. I’d try contacting them or asking Brad if he could regarding this and seeing if they can help.
