Recommendations for laptop bag?

looking for a good laptop bag to carry my HP 17.3, plus room for cables, pens, sheet music, mouse, and miscellaneous supplies. Doesn’t need to be super capacity or heavy duty, but good basic construction and padding is important.

Recommendations on Amazon?

Hi Lee,

Well, I don’t use an attache but do use this well padded backpack design, it holds plenty of cables batteries extras. Also holds your tablets if you have any. Haven’t had it long enough to speak on durability.

Nice. I don’t think I need anything quite that large for my current needs. Decided on this one.

I like that a lot too! Thanks for the link.

When it comes to this kind of stuff the pawn shop has always been my friend. That looks like a great one though.

If you’re after a bag that’ll last take a look at Crumpler.

They’re not cheap, but I’ve had mine for probably 10 years and no signs of wear, no tearing, no seams coming apart, no stretching, no broken clips/buckles/straps. Incredibly well made.

Besides, how can you not love a company that gives their products names like “Considerable Embarassment”, “Pinnacle of Horror” and “Notification Anxietry”

Well. After returning two purchases to Amazon, I FINALLY have a laptop / gear bag I’m pleased with. The Amazon Basics Laptop Backpack has lots of zippered compartments, and best of all, my HP Elitebook 8770w actually fits into the designated compartment. That turned out to be a deal killer with the first two. The second one (Cobell) actually advertised as a 17.3 laptop bag, but was too small!
