Recently i have a weird glitch on my new laptop, please help 🙁

And it wasn’t there in the first place.
I didn’t update windows. That option is hard blocked.
It didn’t install any other heavy software.
And it happens in all audio hosts when loading plugins, now and then, even presets, mostly heavy ones like avenger. But even Synth1 has been acting weird.

It sounds like an iterated computer for a few milliseconds. And it holds my CPU audio flow.

It’s my new performant laptop and I’m not sure where to start looking. It wasn’t before this problem.
I hope i don’t have to reset my windows. Or worse return my computer for inspection.

Any ideas how to debug this my friends :face_with_raised_eyebrow::slightly_frowning_face:

Not sure I understand the description of this problem.

  • What is an “iterated computer”.
  • How do you know it “holds my CPU audio flow” - what is the side effect you’re seeing?

Brad

sth like this

it’s kinda hard to describe, but it goes TRTRTRTRTRTRTRTRTRTRTRT
It holds the audio and cpu flow because the audio is delay when doing this.

Maybe it could be that process manager, but I reset it already so it should be doing this and never did before. I hope it’s not a hardware prob.

I’ve added another power plan and reset process lasso app, maybe that is bugging…
I have 6/12 cores so that wouldn’t be the prob lol

What does LatencyMon show?

I think it was the process lasso CPU parking app. It was disabled but still got the problem. Seems all probs are gone now after uninstalling.
Jeeeejjjjj

Hm, I got it back, but found out it was the multicore setting !
I’ve set it to 1-disable multi-core support and the cracking is gone.

Any of you guys have experiences here?
