Process lasso - anyone have suggested settings, and should I assign audiodg.exe to a specific core via CPU Affinity?

I just started using a more cpu hungry vst (midi guitar 3) and immediately had to increase buffer size to avoid glitches (from 64 to 128). I’ve read several threads here about PL, but another article (not here) suggested to Assign audiodg.exe to a specific core via CPU Affinity. Before I start messing around with it too much thought I’d ask those with experience with it.

I’m on Windows 10 Pro on an Intel 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P, optimized completely, and for almost 2 years have had great performance and very low latency, glitch-free at 44.1K/64, and running the default Audio Engine parameters like Thread affinity etc. Tried some options to get back to 64, Forced a bit better but not enough. But I love that low latency at 64 so I’m wondering if PL might help?
Thanks!
Tom

I am using Process Lasso with Win10 Core I7 13700K and I pretty much left it alone. I did set the speed to bitsum Highest Performance. I looked for the file you mentioned and could not find it in the list. I always look for things like browsers, etc that try to give themselves a high priority.

Great thanks for that info!
