Well, I wouldn‘t mind to have such methods available as standard inside cantabile.
On the other hand I presume it‘s just a minority of us needing such functionality (even though the number of users integrating hardware seems to be growing atm).
Opening this attempt would most probably increase the number of wishes to optimize workflow very quickly (I think of checkboxes, faders, knobs, meters with different scales,…) which very soon may become „Pandora‘s box“ - means: brad will definitely think twice before starting something here.
All in all: I‘m happy to have possibilities available to achieve my wishes inside cantabile and there‘s trello of course to place new ideas and measure demands for them.
