Play midi file linking it with a vst

Hello.

I’m trying to load a midi file and play it with VST sounds, specifically Nexus 2, but I can’t.

Can someone tell me how it’s done?

If you just need to load a MIDI file in a Media Player and direct the notes to a VST, the procedure is explained here:

and in particular at 1:17 in this video:

If you are trying to achieve something more complex, then I would need more info to help you.
