I bought Sony Vegas last year from Humble Bundle. My son paid $19 so I paid triple to make up for it 
We’ve had fun editing video with it - very powerful software.
They were selling the outgoing version but that’s fine with us.
BTW, they never send us marketing emails. Maybe there was a check box for that.
