Has anyone any experience running Osmose CE as a controller for cantabile, and running the osmose sound plugin CTRL-E in Cantabile?
It’s a bit early for many people to have had a chance to do this. I can tell you that I run an original Osmose (‘synthesizer’) into Cantabile with no problem, driving both the internal Haken synth engine, MPE-compatible softsyths and other MPE hardware instruments, such as my MicroMonsta 2s.
But I’m waiting for the Ctrl-e firmware support arriving for my Osmose before I can say more on that specific aspect. I can see no reason why it wouldn’t work as expected, early adopter bugs notwithstanding.
