I have posted these racks for holding notes on VSTi’s that don’t support Sustain or Hold function using CC64 on another thread. The racks were made so you could route your desired controller through the rack on the way to what ever VSTi or VSTi’s you wanted. So you route your input Source routes to the rack and then route the rack’s MIDI output to the desired VSTi.

These 2 racks were made to work so that when the pedal was depressed …
a) in the case of the LOCKED type rack the notes that were held when the pedal press occurred would be held and any new ones blocked until the pedal was released
b) in the case of the ADD type rack when you press the pedal down the keys currently held and any new ones are held until you release the pedal
I made some changes on the design and came up with 3 racks that have different behaviors when you press a damper pedal and route it to the rack. The Main difference is the way the pedal affects the rack’s behavior. On this series of racks when the pedal is depressed …
a) in the case of the LOCKED TOGGLE type when you press the pedal down and release the currently held notes will be held and new notes blocked. When you press the pedal again and release it the held notes will be cleared and you return to normal state. Note that the notes don’t clear till the release of the pedal
b) in the case of the ADD TOGGLE type when you press the pedal down and release it the currently held notes will be held and new notes will be added. When you press the pedal again and release it the held notes will be cleared and you return to normal state. Note that the notes don’t clear till the release of the pedal not the press.
c) in the case of the TOGGLE Sticky Keys type when you press and release the pedal you toggle sticky keys mode ON and all notes played will hold until pressed again (sticky keys behavior) and you keep adding notes. When you press the pedal again and release it the held notes will be cleared and you return to normal state with sticky keys mode off. Note that the notes don’t clear till the release of the pedal not the press.

I tried it out with B-3X and Acoustic Samples Vox Organ and the Structure Sampler. The racks require Cantabile performer to work.
