Newb - Send program change to external synth

The first screen showing the wiring diagram routes can be empty if you are only trying to change the PG number on the Kurzweil.

The second screen showing the bindings is where you put the new binding I described in detail in a post from above. The port name that you use for the Kurzweil when connecting to VSTs should be the same as the port name you use in the target in the binding.

What is not clear to you at this stage?

Hi Dave! Sorry, the Juno-D is the new version, it has MIDI on DIN and USB. If you have two, (l used to), you can’t use both on USB, l used a Mio on the second one.

Pro Tip - Sometimes l wanted a sound change to be available on the Juno, say start with piano, but have a synth patch ready to go for a solo. I would load the synth sound l wanted On Load, and then do the piano sound On Load but with a small delay (maybe 20ms). The Juno has a Piano bank, and a synth bank. When you selected the synth bank, the last sound loaded (the one l did On Load) would be selected when l hit the bank key, so it would be the synth l wanted when l tapped that one button. Then l could select Piano bank after that, and go back to my first sound. I used that a lot on songs. Once you know how to load sounds, you can also make changes on Song States. I usually step through my states by tapping the lowest black key on the keyboard.

@vassaux @dave_dore
I got it to work!!! You were right, I had to take a good look at my midi port setup.
Thank you both very much.
