I upgraded to a faster SSD. After cloning the original drive it ended up as the D drive. I thought there would be broken links all over and started searching how to relabel D to C. Because both drives had Windows boot info it wasn’t happening. Disabling the original drive from booting in the bios, Windows then changed the new drive label from D to C.
Like magic.
I was planning to spend the long weekend reinstalling.
