New Kurweil Production Station Coming

Hi All,

I love my old Kurzweils and know many pros swear by the PC3 so here is the new kid on the block they are introducing called the PC4. Looks very nice to me! I will dream of it now because I likely can’t afford one in my future

I tested PC4 today with an headphone dancing through presets.
Much more interesting than PC3, that I owned for 2 years and then I sold.
Usual nice pianos, strings, church organ, orchestra sounds.
When you find decent sounds named close to rock classics (Raccoon Piano, Fooled Organ, Trick and Tail, Warzawa, StrawberryFlutes) you laugh and play with fun.
But something does not work at top levels.
If you are used to last months VST, kurzy organs and electric pianos are weak.
Pads are interesting, pure synth leads not.
Dynamic does not come out as it should.
Editing and use of PC4 as controller are extremely interesting.
Software is buggy: I had to reboot twice because level and distortion arrived at dangerous levels.
It is very light, only 88 keys version.
Keyboard is among softest of hammer type I ever played.
I liked it but some true pianist will complain.
It is less than 2000 bucks here, cheaper than competitors.
It didn’t move me to plan a purchasing.
