Hi, just a quick question. When I’m changing transpose settings in a song I have found 2 ways. Theres a “funnel” symbol and then next to it my “omni” settings, when I go into either I can adjust the transpose settings, what one do I use ?. Thanks. Steve
Hi Steve,
In this case you’re better off using the route’s MIDI settings over the MIDI filter. Route settings are better integrated with Cantabile’s state management and can better handle transitions to prevent stuck notes. Filters are a bit dumb in this respect, but the filter is still included for uses in other places (eg: on an input or output port) and for backwards compatibility (filters have been around since v2, routes haven’t).
