The MIDI monitor in Cantabile is a crucial tool in managing data flow between components. Over at the ‘Roland Style All Note Off’ thread we have a situation where identifying the correct status byte, whether the events are ‘real’ Note Offs or Note Ons at zero velocity, is important to solving a particular issue.
The MIDI monitor in Cubase is able to correctly identify the different approaches, while Cantabile takes a more relaxed view, displaying both status bytes as Note Offs.
Please could we have the option to display the correct status byte.
