LivePrompter update - important bugfix!

Hi all,

I’ve just published an update to LivePrompter (build 1.009). Besides some bug-fixing and documentation clean-up, this brings a new feature that allows you to specify exact window positions in LivePrompter.ini (or alternative .ini files). This may be helpful in situations when you want to avoid stored window positions to get messed up or when you want to arrange multiple windows on your screen.

Simply head over to LivePrompter Downloads and get the new version!

Also: I’ve shared an Excel file that helps calculating d_time tags for your songs to control scrolling very precisely. I use this all the time - far better than simply setting the {duration:…} tag and scrolling through the song at the same speed, especially at large type sizes.

Hi all,

unfortunately, the new features introduced in the latest release (1.009) created some knock-on-effects that messed up the restoring of saved window positions.

Apologies for the mess-up – a new bugfix release (1.010) is now online.

This release also fixes a previously existing bug in LivePrompter that caused crashes on incorrectly formatted command tags, so an update is definitely recommended – please head to the download section and update your current installation!
