I have a request for Live Mode. My setup consists of 4 stereo audio ins, 4 stereo audio outs, 5 MIDI ins and 5 MIDI outs. As you can see from the screenshot, it’s actually not easy to distinguish between the inputs and outputs; only the naming and position in the list of channels tells you whether they’re inputs or outputs, yet this is quite important information. In fact “Onscreen Keyboard” appears twice with no indication as to which is in or out. It feels redundant to have to prefix input channel names with “In:” etc. Could anything be done with the user interface to give more indication of which are inputs and outputs, for both audio and MIDI? Perhaps something as simple as a difference in text colour could be sufficient.
