Light turns orange when I adjust my laptop lid.?

I can’t even think why this would happen.
Issue:
Sometimes when I adjust the Laptop Lid while in Cantabile, the green light switches to orange, cursor spins and sometime after 5 to 10 seconds goes back green light and other times Cantabile crashes. its so bizarre.

I did load any plugins as stand alone and doesn’t happen in their own software. As well as I have all functions disabled (Do Nothing) when lid is closed. If anyone has had this happen. Please let me know. :slight_smile:

Sounds like something is triggering the laptop to start suspending.

When you actually close the lid, Cantabile should suspend the audio engine (orange then off power button in Cantabile).

If you’re just “adjusting” the lid, this shouldn’t trigger anything. Maybe a faulty lid switch?

One test you could run is turn on Tools → Options → Diagnostics → Console Logger and see what it logs when you adjust the lid. I suspect it’s stopping/starting the audio engine.
