Hey all, I know how to create program changes with my Kurzweil pc3 A7 via bindings, but, does anyone here have any knowledge on how to trigger a setup (multi) program with a binding? Setups are basically Kurzweil’s version of multi-timbral programs if you’re wondering.
Any input appreciated.

A lot will depend on how the PC3 A responds to MIDI bank and program changes
The manual was not much help, but a quick google search of
kurzweil pc3 a7 change setup via midi
came back with an AI response that was mainly based on the following link

So that gives you the information you need on what to send as a banked program change as your binding action.
Below is a binding that sends a banked program change to my Yamaha Montage when a song is selected. The value 62.2.2 is the required banked program change to select Live Set Bank 3, Slot 3 (program change values start from zero).
So you can use a binding like this to select the required setup on your Kurz using the data in the link to work out the banked program change value needed.
You can experiment by setting up the binding, and using the TEST button to send as you are checking values

Ok, I got it to work! There’s was a midi setting in the Kurzweil that I was missing. Thanks for the help!!

It looked from the docs that there might have been some things to check that were setup correctly.
