Kontakt Output eems to be misconfigured

So, Kontakt suddenly started loading with the tag under preset/destination as “Kontakt - Input Event” and not as “Kontakt - Midin In” like it always has. And of course it makes no sound. Down in the actual plugin row it says Kt.st. Out instead of Stereo Out like it usually does. And there’s no way to alter it from the drop down men when I highlight the Kt.st. Out and try yo change to Stereo Out. I made no changes except a Cantible update. Thoughts?

A deluge of problems on multiple laptops today. Not sure why!

I opened Kontakt standalone, loaded a library, then I followed some advice from online concerning Kontakt problems and other DAWs. I Reset All Outputs or some such, and now it works… hmmm.
