Kontakt 8 Sound issue

I am running a computer with kontakt 8 within Cantabile without any issues. I have a new computer and rebuilding my setup.

The standalone kontakt works but the vst hosted by Cantabile doesn’t. I see the midi notes on the vst gui but no sound. It’s very strange. Some kontakt instruments have multiple outputs and others single. None of them work.

Frustrating…

Any suggestions from someone who has experienced this issue? Thx

I regressed by Cantabile from 4357 down to 4344, which was working on another computer. Only one song worked but did allow me to rebuild the other non-working songs using it as a template.

So Cantabile was to blame. I have to remind myself that you sometimes have to start with a fresh song in case something is corrupted in the song that fails to work.
