I use different master keyboards with cantabile 3. Not all of them have free programmable MIDI buttons/sliders so that I can switch songs/states via MIDI.
On my 2in1 Convertible I can use touch screen - that works fine but especially with fast song state switching its not the best choice.
Now I bought a programmable keypad (Cherry G84-4700). I reprogrammed the buttons (except 1…9; – means deactivated) with often used cantabile3 hot keys (see picture).
Now - if master keyboard and monitors are available at the location I only have to carry two bags with me - one with laptop, audio interface, cables etc. and another with pedals a. s. o. (less than 10 kg).
