Anyone have this running under Cantabile? I’m trying to use it with a 13 pin guitar and Boss GP-10 as a midi source for controlling synth plugins and not sure how to configure it in Cantabile performer.
I have it running in Cantabile with a GK5 and VG800. You have to configure all each USB source. I will try and find the links with some screen shots that someone else helped me with.
Would appreciate that. I’ve run my Godin and Fender/Roland 13 pin guitars with a GR-55 as the midi source using Cantabile to control Omnisphere but I can’t figure out how to configure midi guitar hex under Cantabile. I’m really unclear on the routing. I can run the standalone MIDI Guitar 3 Hex program though I’m still struggling with the tracking.

So you have this as a MIDI input and from there you route the MIDI output to the MIDI GUITAR 3 VST3 and then output MIDI to your synth Plugins, or do you connect to your synth plugins from within MIDI Guitar 3 hex?
Sorry for the basic questions, I’m still new to this technology. With the GR-55 I’m not using any intermediate VST like MIDI Guitar 3, just routing MIDI directly from the Cantabile MIDI source into my plugins.
Has anyone got the Fishman Triple Play to work as a hex in MG3? FWIW I tried the same routing, and some others, to get MG3 Hex to work, and nothing would happen. A little off topic but I found that running the plugins from inside MG3 was a little better for tracking, and it seemed like better latency although I didn’t measure it.

I prefer to do the routing in Cantabile, but if your virtual instrument setup is static and you don’t need to enable/disable sources or routes, using MG3 is also effective.
