Ivory 3 (vst3 64 bit) plugin crashes Cantabile 4 Performer 64 bit (Win 11)

When I insert the Ivory 3 plugin into song, I can assign desired routing, but when I try to open plugin editor, Cantabile 4 (the latest stable version) always crashes. I sent multiple crash reports over the last 2 days.

It works fine in the Synthogy Cantabile 3 though. I suspect that it misses some stuff when is loaded in Cantabile 4, or there is vst3 incompatibility between implementations.

BTW, the old Ivory II (vst2) plugin works in Cantabile 4 fine, but crashes when I close it (switch to other song, etc.)

Any suggestions on how to make Ivory 3 working with Cantabile 4 would be greatly appreciated.

I think @brad knows Ivory well given that he provides Synthogy with a customized version of Cantabile. By tagging this post we’ll let him know.

I just did some testing here with latest Cantabile 4307 and Ivory VST 3.0.6 b295 x64 and it seems to be working fine. Please make sure you’re running the latest version of Ivory and let me know if the probably persists.

Failing that, the crash reports all indicate crashes in the plugin itself so this might need the attention of Synthogy to get resolved.

Yes, it was Synthogy. May be, some file got corrupted or removed accidentally. I uninstalled all their software without deleting library files, and installed only the latest i3 ACD to get the vst3 plugin installed. It works fine now.
