Is there a way to save presets within Pianoteq while Cantabile running it?

Let’s say I’m running Pianoteq through Cantabile, now I created great preset in Pianoteq, I want to save this preset so when I’ll run Pianoteq in standalone mode or in other VST host, I would be able to load this preset. Is there a way to do it?
Or all I can do is to save .cantabileSong files?

Two ways to go about it:

  • Use the Pianoteq preset management to create a new preset within pianoteq (read the Pianoteq manual on how to do that). This preset will then be available in new instances of Pianoteq, in Cantabile or other hosts)

  • use the “hamburger menu” at the top right of the plugin window in Cantabile and select “Export Program”. In the file dialog that opens next, be sure to set the file type to “program files (fxp)”. These fxp files can be imported in most DAWs (as long as you are using Pianoteq as VST2 plugin; VST3 plugins don’t seem to be able to read fxp files). Also Pianoteq can read fxp files directly - top item in the presets box (“Load FXP file”). This is also useful if you want to transfer a particular preset between PCs.

Cheers,
