Just a quick thumbs up from me for the Glitch Free book and in particular chapter 7 and the LatencyMon app. I was having some pretty bad random glitching on my laptop despite running through all the set-up advice in the previous chapters.
As per the advice in chapter 7, I loaded up LatencyMon and it quickly showed the issue was ndis.sys which is a network driver of some sort. I am using C3’s built in web server so I was eager not to have to turn off my wifi but after a quick bit of Googling I updated the drivers for my wifi card and disabled the power management option for the card (Windows is as bad as Facebook for having hidden settings all over the place)!
It worked - no more glitches.
