Hi people!
I want to send a MIDI CC 7 (Volume) to my Nordwave keyboard. If I try the command works manually but if I want to run automatically on a specific state does not work. I certainly something wrong … Can you tell me how to do?
Thanks
Mauro
It’s probably because you’re sending a program change to the Nord, and immediately sending your volume change messages. Perhaps you need to add a time delay in the volume change binding, to give the Nord time to respond to the program change.
Neil
OK, I insert the delay time on the binding as you indicated to me. But the problem is that it does not save the state the “action off” and the “action on” in the different state.
I don’t follow what you mean.
Are you playing the Nordwave from Cantabile? If so, you might get better results by enabling and disabling the MIDI route out to it, instead of switching its volume between full and zero.
It looks like the Bindings State Behavior is not checked. Try this …
- Select the first state you wish to set
- enable or disable the on load bindings you want (like in your graphic)
- Open the States Behavior Panel ( View>Side Panel>States Behavior )
- make sure "Enabled’ is checked (this makes it remember and reload state snapshot)
- move to the next state and repeat same steps
hope this helps
Dave
Good Dave Dore! You have guessed my problem!
They turn off the behavior of states. Now works! Thanks also to you Neil Durant for your advice.
