Does Cantabile only work with hardware ports?
I want to create a port to send audio via a virtual audio cable.
I can create a new port but cannot find a way to select the audio cable.
Any help?

This is down to the limitations of the ASIO driver you are using. Most ASIO drivers are dedicated to the hardware you are using. I.e. if I you are using a hardware specific driver E.g. for Focusrite, etc. then the VB cables won’t be accesable. If you try ASIO4ALL You should be able to see the VB-Audio cable along side the other interfaces. Alternatively you could look at VB-Matrix. I suspect the VB-Matrix latency maybe an issue for live use though.
