To answer your first question: in C3, add the insert effect plugin and route the output from your instrument to your effect plugin. Tip: watch the cantabile walkthrough video’s, they are very useful. Specifically:

Hi Hag01,
I’m not sure but I think you want to turn off the measure sound. If this is what you meant then right click on the metronome toolbar and uncheck the measure sound checkbox.
