How does renaming a linked rack work?

So I’ve found a lot of older threads on renaming, but I am wondering if any of that is changing (either in 36xxx or V4). Specifically I’d like to rename racks (e.g., add a _L to the end of the name) to help me identify the type in the name (so I can see the type or rack in the Set List Verify functionality). Currently I have to guess at the ones that are duplicated in the verify list.

Or… if someone has another idea, I’d appreciate it greatly.
