I see that the presets are not classified at all.
I want to find all the strings presets as a start.

No, unlike the M1, you can’t filter by category. I don’t know if this will help, but here is the list of all the patches for the original wavestation, which I think is the same as the Legacy.

IF you have a Native Instruments keyboard (though you could do this even if you don’t) and use Komplete Kontrol, there is a third-party preset organizer for Komplete Kontrol that has the presets well categorized AND with audio previews. I use it every day just about even though the keyboard being used to control that instance of KK is seldom one of my NI keyboards.
The trial-version is free so you can make sure it will be useful for you first, and it covers the entire legacy collection.
