Doesn’t seem to be a way to do this at present, but it would be less visually cluttered to be able to hide and reposition columns in the same way you can do with a microsoft word table. For example, drag the Notes column to position it to the right of the Name/Source Column and hide the others.

No this currently isn’t possible, except that you can hide columns that don’t have a minimum size by sizing them down to zero (drag from the right hand size of the divider to re-show them).
Good idea though - logged it.
