Grouping and sending all audio outputs to EZmix possible?

Hi folks

I usually play a bit with my plugins before applying a mastering on the whole stuff
There is a way, rack apart, to have all audio outputs on to my mastering tool without cutting and reattaching all wires?

For example, lassoing all them then linking the group to EZmix with one shortcut?

I said “rack apart” because it is a further step and I strive to avoid extra steps
I know, I am lazy

Hello Clap,

You seem not to want to use a rack. In Cantabile racks are your friend. They are very light weight, easy to use, and flexible. They serve the function of a container for plug-ins, but also can act as mixers and routers for inputs and outputs, and empty racks can serve many purposes. Your example is perfect for an empty rack to serve as a mixer before going to your effects. Racks can be saved or linked for reuse.

Below is a picture of my basic Song template. Everything is in a rack, seven racks for “instruments”, each containing a chain of plugins and effects, and then everything going to a global EQ/effects rack.

Welcome and good luck

Hi John

I am aware I am an alien here

But I’ve never used racks in my DAWs also, so I am decidedly a poor user of anything
So, thanks for your push: I have to start using racks
cheers

Well, today I launched the rack era

Cool!
Very smart indeed

Here is the Accompaniment and the solo racks with the mastering tool and the Media Player to listen the result

Inside the Accompaniment rack I have the piano, drums and bass racks, each one with their mixing tools

And below is the solo rack with its mixing tool

The whole thing works like a charm, I jammed on a funky base with a lot of fun, and I can create multiple racks for each style I want to jam on

Thanks to have been a trigger
