I think the same benefits we get from state locks could be applied to bindings and their folders.

Just to follow up, bindings are obviously a core component of Cantabile’s performance arsenal, often relying on several interlocking bindings to achieve full functionality.
I unwittingly deleted one and didn’t really notice until I realized one plugin wasn’t playing as well as it should. Copied and pasted the missing binding from a song backup.
A voice from beyond said ‘Padlocks!’
OK, it might’ve been ‘Dinner!’, but I was in the moment.
