It would be nice if diagram visually differentiated between plugins and racks automatically.
May be, allow to set default color for racks in preferences, or use a different shape. Right now the only way to differentiate is by icons available, but I hope my another siggestion (to add icons to racks) will be implemented in the future. -
I can hide plugin ports with mouse using context menu, but cannot show them back (it can be done only with keyboard AFAIK). It is very inconvenient for me, because I use touchscreen a lot of time. It would be nice if I could force show ports with mouse using the plugin context menu.

Rack and plugin audio port names. I am not sure how Cnatabile decides what name to assign to a port. I can see Stereo In/Out, In/Out, Input In/Out, etc. As a result I sometimes do not know is the route mono or stereo, and it takes time to figure out where mono became stereo, for example. Is it possible to standardize port names? For example, when I load a stereo plugin, it would show its ports named Stereo In/Stereo Out. If the plugin allows for multiple channel configurations, then it would show ports as In/Out. And when I add a route to/from such a multi-config plugin, the port name would change to its actual channel config (Mono In, Stereo Out, etc.). Alternatively, implementation of a tooltip over a route and/or port to show it is Mono, Stereo, Mid-Side, 5.1, etc. would also be nice.

Plugin latency and CPU. I am not asking for PDC implementation. However, Cantabile does not even show latency reported by plugins, which is pretty much a standard feature in any other DAW. It would be great it there was, say, tooltip over plugin which would show its reported latency (samples and ms) and CPU load. Or show plugin latency and CPU load in the settings bar. I know about LatencyCheck in ReaJS, but I need to see the latency in the song to sync routes when needed, and considering that many plugins have multiple modes that affect their latency (zero latency, minimal phase, linear phase, lookahead, etc.), offline measurements with ReaJS do not make much sense.

It looks like song does not reopen racks that were open when I close/save the song (which worked in the past if I am not mistaken). Can rack status (open/closed) be saved whenever I save the song, and reapplied when I load this song?
Thanks,
