@brad: If I use delayed switching between song-states, Cantabile shows a window with the name of the next song-state. I think it makes sense if this window appears also when using instant switching. What do you think? Why did you implement it with the delayed, but not with the instant switching?

The reason it’s implemented that way is so that in delayed mode you can see which song will load before it actually loads. Doesn’t really make sense in instant mode because Cantabile’s main window will update straight away anyway - ie: there’s no concept of selecting the target song first.
That said, things will be changing in this area and in fact I was thinking of getting rid of the popup when I do this.
