I’ve had a closer look at this and I’m not sure this is a good idea - primarily because File|Save and File|Save As which by convention refer to saving the same thing, would now refer to saving different things.
Also, embedded racks can also live inside a another rack - so this then gets super confusing. Are you saving the embedded rack, the rack holding the embedded rack, the song holding the rack holding the embedded rack etc…
It seemed like a good idea, but now I’m not so sure.
In the meantime, you can use Ctrl+Shift+S to save everything - including the current song.
yeah, i follow your logic and need to be consistent.
tbh i didn’t know about ctrl+shift+s.
that will allow me to work inside embedded racks and not have to come out to use a keyboard shortcut to save.
